Please note: This appointment is not a substitute for hygiene or maintenance visits. We strongly recommend you continue routine care with your existing dentist. Patients with untreated gum disease or active infections will be referred for periodontal care before elective treatments can proceed.

Planmeca CBCT Scan

Our low-radiation, high-resolution 3D cone beam imaging evaluates:

TMJs and airway structure
Hidden or asymptomatic dental infections, including cavitations or failing root canals—often undetectable on traditional 2D x-rays
Jawbone density and bone health
Calcified carotid arteries, a risk factor for cardiovascular disease
Sinus and nasal health including biofilm, polyps, or deviated septum

CBCT is the most effective way to uncover dental infections that may be contributing to chronic inflammation or systemic illness.

Salivary Testing

A simple saliva sample is sent to the lab for analysis of your oral microbiome, revealing:

Levels of healthy vs. pathogenic bacteria
Contributors to gum disease, cavities, bad breath, and chronic inflammation

This information helps us personalize your care—recommending targeted home care practices and therapeutic products to support a healthy, balanced mouth.

3D Impression

We create a 3D digital model of your teeth and bite, allowing us to:

This scan is also helpful in monitoring progression over time or for planning restorations.

Oral Cancer Screening

OralID uses fluorescence technology to detect cellular changes in the soft tissues of the mouth—well before they become visible to the naked eye. Early detection is key, and this painless, fast screening allows us to be proactive in identifying suspicious areas.

What Happens Next?

After your ADS appointment, we’ll gather and analyze your results. In 4-6 weeks, you’ll meet with Dr. Riley for a one-hour consultation, usually via secure Zoom, though in-person visits are available upon request.

During this visit, we will:
